A very rare Johann Adelhard wall cabinet featuring a single door with locking mechanism (no key) with a beautiful Nurnberg scene of inlaid wood. This particular piece is from 1899. The cabinet will need some restorative work missing two trim pieces, several thin accent pieces, the ball trim on the bottom is loose, as are some of the other joints. One thin side trim came unglued and is showing attached in the photographs. The cabinet itself is as much a work of art as the Nurnberg castle marquetry inlay scene. Additional pictures are available upon request given I have this hanging on my wall, it won’t be an issue taking them.
